Product Description:

I am looking for a 24x7 cyber security monitoring provider as well as cyber incident response support.

It would be helpful if the provider can utilise our existing investment in our current security monitoring tools, but there is an opportunity to onboard a more complete SIEM solution to upgrade our existing one.

I envisage that the incident response support component might be arranged on a retainer basis, with payment per incident. However, that is subject to whichever arrangement offers the most affordable solution.

SOLUTION OVERVIEW

We’re an experienced and capable cybersecurity partner and we have actually just successfully onboarded one of the largest and most experienced aged care providers in South Australia to our 24×7 cyber security monitoring and incident response service.

This client, along with others across critical industries, chose SecMatters because of our proven ability to integrate with existing environments while delivering scalable, cost-effective, and highly responsive support.

Our Offer

SecMatters provides 24×7 monitoring, detection and incident response through our Security Operations Centre.

Our approach ensures complete visibility, rapid response and actionable intelligence, allowing you to stay protected around the clock while maintaining control of your data and technology stack.

We can utilise your existing tools (such as CrowdStrike, Mimecast, Netskope and Graylog) or we can help you transition to a more complete SIEM platform (most of our clients are on Microsoft Sentinel) to improve visibility and scalability.

Incident Response Flexibility

We understand the importance of flexibility and affordability. That’s why our Incident Response (IR) capability is available under an engagement model that suits you. Regardless, you will have access to senior specialists skilled in investigation, containment and recovery.

Our Approach

  • Integrate and optimise: We build on your current technology investments and uplift your existing monitoring capability.

  • Reduce noise: Our analysts tune detections to your environment to reduce false positives and prioritise high-impact alerts.

  • Add context: We enrich alerts with threat intelligence and contextual data for faster, more informed responses.

  • Partner-first model: We co-design processes, reports and escalation pathways that align to your operational and compliance needs.

Why SecMatters

  • Australian-built 24×7 SOC staffed by experienced analysts.

  • Proven success in aged care, healthcare and critical infrastructure sectors.

  • Client-owned architecture – you retain control of tools and data.

  • Flexible commercial terms designed to balance assurance and affordability.

Next Steps

We’d welcome the opportunity to discuss your requirements in detail and demonstrate how SecMatters can deliver the continuous protection, insight and response capability you’re seeking.

Please let us know if you are open to a convenient time for a brief discovery call to align on your environment and provide a tailored proposal.

QUALIFYING QUESTIONS

Q1.

Can you ingest and correlate data from CrowdStrike, Mimecast, Netskope, and Graylog?

Yes. SecMatters can ingest, normalise, and correlate data from CrowdStrike, Mimecast, Netskope, and Graylog as part of our 24×7 monitoring service.

Our platform and analysts are experienced in integrating across a wide range of security technologies and log sources. We leverage standard APIs, log collectors, and event forwarding to ensure seamless integration and correlation of telemetry across endpoint, email, cloud, and network layers. This enables unified visibility and detection logic without disrupting your existing technology investments.

Q2.

Can you enrich alerts with threat intelligence or contextual data from these platforms?

Yes. We enrich all alerts with threat intelligence and contextual data from both internal and external sources, including the telemetry provided by your existing tools.

Our enrichment process includes correlation with global threat feeds, MITRE ATT&CK mappings, and SecMatters’ curated intelligence sources.

By layering this intelligence on top of data from platforms such as CrowdStrike, Mimecast, and Netskope, our analysts can provide clear, context-rich insights that support faster triage and response.

Q3.

How do you prioritise alerts and reduce false positives?

SecMatters uses a risk-based detection and triage model to prioritise alerts by potential business impact rather than raw event volume.

We continuously tune detection rules and use case logic in collaboration with your internal teams to align to your risk appetite and environment.

Our analysts leverage correlation, contextual enrichment, and historical baselining to identify genuine threats while suppressing repetitive or low-value noise.

This approach significantly reduces false positives and ensures that your teams receive only actionable, high-priority alerts.

Q4.

Do you offer services to enhance or replace Graylog with a more scalable SIEM?

Yes. SecMatters offers services to both enhance your existing Graylog deployment and, if required, transition to a more scalable, cloud-based SIEM (most of our clients use Microsoft Sentinel) or an equivalent platform.

We start by assessing your current Graylog configuration, identifying opportunities for optimisation (such as log parsing, retention, and dashboard improvements), and determining if scalability or advanced analytics are limiting factors.

If replacement is preferred, we can design and implement a modern SIEM solution that supports advanced correlation, automation, and native integration with your existing tools, ensuring a smooth, low-risk transition.

Q5.

Do you offer retainer-based IR services or on-demand support?

Yes. SecMatters allows flexibility to match your operational and financial preferences, we can discuss this on a discovery call.
